WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
BOOKINGS:
All experiences MUST be booked in advance by using the ‘BOOK NOW’ above! Or you can use Contact Us page or telephone/email Cary Alpacas should you prefer.
COSTS:
£ 25.00 per person (aged 16 years and over)
£ 22.50 with Forces Discount / Blue Light Card
£ 12.50 per child (aged between 6 – 16 years)
£ 11.25 if child of a parent with Forces Discount / Blue Light Card
Persons under the age of 18 years MUST be accompanied by a paying adult. Should you choose to walk without an alpaca the cost remains the same.
PERSONALISED CERTIFICATES:

DOGS:
There is a strict NO DOGS policy on the farm and throughout the experience. Dogs may be left in your vehicle weather permitting.
WHEELCHAIRS ACCESS AND THOSE WITH DISABILITIES:
We welcome those who have accessibility requirements by providing a personally catered for experience.
Facilities Limited. Wheelchair access to the paddocks can be impractical during wet weather. However, we can provide private meetings with our alpacas.
There are washroom facilities available on the ground floor which are unfortunately, not suitable for wheelchair access.

WEATHER/UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES:
We will not be able to walk the alpacas in extreme weather such as heavy rain, strong winds and high temperatures. If your walk has to be cancelled prior to your visit, we will contact you by either your mobile or by email. You will be given the opportunity to reschedule or a full refund.
ENVIRONMENT:
Our location is clay and sometimes uneven ground so sensible footwear is a must (Wellingtons/walking boots and trainers if dry weather). A hose will be available to hose off mud at the end of the experience. Clothing should be appropriate for the weather conditions.
BIO-SECURITY / SAFETY:
We have stringent bio-security / Safety, so we will ask you to dip the soles of your footwear in disinfectant pads as you enter the alpaca paddocks.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
During your ‘Cary Alpaca Experience’ you may be photographed / videoed for use on our Website and our social media pages. We understand some visitors may not wish to photographed. If that is the case, please let us know.
Photography is not only allowed but welcomed, if you have photographs of your ‘Cary Alpaca Experience’ you would like to share with us, please use our Visitor Reviews page. Only send photographs you are willing to share with our website / social media.

PARKING:
As you leave the A37 and you enter the Cary Fitzpaine hamlet remain on the tarmac road to the very bottom where you will come to a T-junction. Turn left and then immediately right into the drive way of Rag Barn. Park on the graveled area where you will be met prior to your ‘Cary Alpaca Experience’.
