All good things must come to an end!!

After 10 fantastic years hosting The Cary Alpaca Experience at Rag Barn, I’ve decided to retire at the end of this season
31st October 2026

Words can’t fully express how much I’ve cherished your support, your visits, and your wonderful reviews of the experience.
I’m so proud to say every single review was incredibly kind and generous.

And of course, I’ll treasure our walks together across the beautiful Somerset countryside!
Admittedly the weather didn’t always play ball, but every moment was special all the same.

What happens next?

For anyone who knows Cary Alpacas, it’ll come as no surprise that I have absolutely no intention of splitting up our beloved alpaca family.

Just like me, they’ll enjoy their well-earned retirement right here at Rag Barn, doing what they love most.
And who knows —
I might just join them sunbathing on warm days, or even wade into the pools with them when summer heats up! 🦙☀️
